Juneteenth!

Please join us between 11AM and 2PM on Saturday, June 18th at a picnic to commemorate Juneteenth, the day Texans were informed slavery had been abolished in this country!

For this year’s annual celebration, First Presbyterian Church will collaborate with the NAACP Santa Fe Branch in hosting a picnic at the Federal Park, just east of the downtown Post Office. First Presbyterian Church will provide meats, paper plates, cups, plastic cutlery and water to drink. The NAACP will present the program. All attending are asked to bring a side dish to share.

Tables and chairs will be set up in this shady, cool green-space for all to enjoy food, fellowship and to learn more about the origins and significance of Juneteenth.  See you there!
